FENDI: NEW BOND STREET BOUTIQUE- SNEAK PREVIEW
A whole day of celebrations are afoot over at Fendi’s amazing new New Bond Street Boutique. Number 141 for those that are central London based, and fancying a steaming up of their spanking new windows during lunch. For our first post of the day (expect a flood leading on through midnight Tenners), please find enclosed a little sneak peek of the 19th century buildings palatial new interiors. An unexpectedly mammoth amount of merchandising actually, that’s spread across 3 minimal, but obviously rather glam floors. Ted and myself were particularly taken with the basement. Nothing untoward, just the fact that it contains the brands first full showcasing of its new concept for the Fendi Men’s collection. In celebration of this fact- here’s me enjoying a none alcoholic cocktail, with a carefree kick that says ‘yay for being a man’ in front of an incredible palm tree sculpture by Maria Pergay, formed from high gloss crocodile hides. Why not? Ladies feeling a little jealous of this revelry, would do well to note that today is in fact a double celebration, very much inclusive of their own Fendi needs. Beyond all the usually fabulous wares from the brand, the new boutique is currently housing a special series of Peekaboo bags that have been created in collaboration with several iconic women. Gwyneth Paltrow, Cara Delevinge, Adele, Jerry Hall, Georgia-May Jagger, Tracey Emin, Zaha Hadid, Naomie Harris, Tanya Ling and Kate Adie have all come together to create these customised treats in support of Kids Company. Purchases which should leave a doubly huge smile on your face, given the fact winning one in their dedicated online auction, will greatly benefit this amazing charity.
