Jean Paul Gaultier is a French national treasure. The press Français, indeed, were out in force and applauding forcefully, in Gaultier’s latest ode to… well, France. This time it was le style Brettonaise (not sure if that’s right, but sounds suitably Frenchy), with dresses striped like ultra-trad matelot sweaters, and even the French national dish. Which, we at 10, have decided is le crepe.
